Simstrologist Career expands the Simstrology family with a complete professional path built around chart interpretation, client work, public forecasting, and transformational guidance. Sims begin as newly qualified practitioners, build their reputation through real Simstrology work, and eventually choose what kind of Simstrologist they want to become.

This is more than an astrology-themed job title. The career connects professional advancement to the Simstrology Skill, natal charts, houses, progressions, consultations, and public-facing media work.

Choose How to Qualify

Not every Sim takes the same road into professional practice.

Sims can enter the career by:

• Reaching  Simstrology Skill Level 3 and passing the Simstrology Licensing Exam, or
• Completing a Simstrology degree, which provides an alternate academic path into the profession

The licensing exam happens before career entry. Your Sim studies the fundamentals, becomes eligible to test, earns their license, and then begins practicing—because one horoscope blog and a crystal on the desk do not make someone professionally qualified.

University graduates receive a head start:

• Regular Simstrology graduates begin as a Chart Reader at Level 2
• Honors graduates begin as a **Consultation Analyst** at Level 3

Build a Real Simstrology Practice

The shared career ladder follows your Sim from their first licensed clients to a stable professional practice:

1. Associate Simstrologer — Launch a small practice and begin taking early clients
2. Chart Reader — Develop consistency through readings, outreach, and chart analysis
3. Consultation Analyst — Turn chart information into stronger, more reliable guidance
4. Simstrologer — Handle fuller consultations and prepare to specialize
5. Choose a Branch — Commit to Private Practice, Public Forecasting, or Transformational Guidance

Career entry does not end your Sim's education. Advanced progression continues to reward growth through Levels 4 and 5 of the Simstrology Skill.

Private Practice (Consultant)

What does the chart say?

Build a one-on-one consultation practice for Sims who want clear answers from their charts. Schedule clients, examine natal houses, review current progressions, and translate complicated placements into practical readings.

Private Practice is grounded, professional, and client-centered. Its focus is the chart itself: what is active, what the timing suggests, and what the client should understand about the current moment.

Public Forecasting (Mundane Simstrologer)

What is happening in the Simstrological weather—and how dramatic can we make it sound?

Take Simstrology public through forecasts, blogs, videos, interviews, books, and Sim TV appearances. Build an audience by turning collective patterns into public commentary that is informative, entertaining, and occasionally just a little unhinged.

This is the path for Sims who would rather address the entire neighborhood than sit quietly with one client. The in-game title Mundane Simstrologer refers to collective and public forecasting—not a Simstrologist who has run out of magic.

Public Forecasting activities include (Computer>Career>Simstrologer Career):

• Blogging Simstrology forecasts
• Producing forecast videos
• Appearing on Sim TV
• Writing and publishing Simstrology books through the regular writing system (Computer>Write>Skill book>Genre>Simstrology)
• Giving off-site interviews

Transformational Guidance (Evolutionary Simstrologist)

What does this mean, and how can I grow through it?

Go beyond reporting placements and help clients find meaning in emotional patterns, recurring experiences, and major life transitions. Use natal themes and current progressions to connect what is happening in the chart with what is happening in the Sim's life.

Transformational Guidance combines Simstrology with a more reflective, psychologically aware approach. Where Private Practice delivers information and timing, this branch helps a client understand why the pattern matters—and what they might do with it.

The career is built as an extension of Simstrology rather than a separate astrology-flavored activity. Depending on the chosen branch, professional work draws from systems including:

The Simstrologist Career is designed to run alongside Simstrology Core. Keep both packages installed and updated together.

Installation

1. Download the Simstrologist Career files.
2. Extract the archive if the download is compressed.
3. Place the included files in your Sims 4 **Mods** folder. Do not place script files more than one folder deep.
4. Confirm that **Custom Content and Mods** and **Script Mods Allowed** are enabled in Game Options.
5. Delete `localthumbcache.package` after updating the mod, then restart the game.
